IE Compatible Issues

  1. new Date([date string]):
    '2012-1-1 00:00' won't work in IE
    Solution: date_string.replace(/\-/ig, '/');
  2. array.indexOf(value)
    Better use $.inArray() of jQuery
  3. Declaration of HTML document matters!! Especially for IE:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">
    <html xmlns="">
  4. "console.log()" could cause error <= IE8

  1. "max-width" won't work < IE8
    Solution: Container must set specific width and height.

    #right_info .color li a{width:20px; height: 20px;}
    #right_info .color li a img{width:20px; height:20px;}
